As one of Jakarta’s newest hot spots, Dragonfly is a new restaurant and bar concept.
This cavernous space features interlocking marble tables, onyx lighting and a huge glowing amber wall with leaf patterns that mimic a jungle canopy at dusk. Votive candles add a moody flicker to the Indochine-inspired space while, in the kitchen, Malay, Thai and Chinese cooks battle it out for supremacy with dishes like crispy soon hock with ginger spring onion and Thai curry prawn with egg white.
Gosh, I’m so ashamed to hear this from someone in UK. Everytime I go back to Jakarta, I hardly go to this kind of places. Only to usual places where they don’t mind kids’ loud noises. (I have nephews, too) :)
I have to let my sisters know about Dragonfly, thanks for sharing this!
wow what a place, can any one take me there?! :)
I´d love to go there :)
I’ve been there two weeks ago, such a nice place =)
