Yoko Furusho was born in Tokyo. She moved to New York to study illustration at the School of Visual Arts in 1984. Yoko graduated last year to pursue a career as an artist/illustrator. Addicted to fashion magazines, she naturally draws her inspiration from them. She likes to draw many details, textures and patterns with ink and acrylics. [interview]
