Leaving on a Jet Plane

All my bags (new) are packed I’m ready to go, I’m standing here outside your door. I hate to wake you up to say goodbye (Amsterdam). Cos I’m leaving on a jet plane don’t know when I’ll be back again…Amsterdam is an hour ahead of UK so we’d lost an hour when we got there, day-light saving time was scheduled on Sunday and the clock was set one hour back, so we gained an hour on return (*confusing?)
