If I was ever to write a magazine, it would look something like this (can’t seem to get this in the U.K)
Two years ago, over a glass of wine, Editor Louise Bannister and Creative Director Lara Burke wanted a magazine that spoke directly to the reader, contained great affordable fashion, inspiring art, interesting reads and the best photography. They wanted a magazine to be written by 20 somethings for 20 somethings. And so in September 2004, frankie was born.
featured–Hammer & Daisy, Sonja Ahlers, Jen Corace etc
WOW! Thanks so much for showing off Frankie, I was reading going, oh that looks like such an awesome mag…pity I’m in Australia, then I kept reading and was like Oh my god, it IS Australian! =P
I just went and bought the copy on the top left, can’t wait to read it, thanks babel! =) xox
frankie sounds like another terrific magazine to read. Babel, if you ever write a magazine, let me know, I’ll buy your first copy!! ;-)
it is a great mag indeed!
seems fabulous! If you ever write a magazine like this, I´d love to be a contributor ;)
I’d buy a copy of your magazine too…
see you, grache
Cool! Love the photos and illustrations – I would really like to get my hands on that issue. Hey, maybe we should collaborate and make a magazine for 30 somethings written by 30 somethings ;). Tee hee.
But I’m with everyone else, if you write a magazine, I’ll be the first to buy it.
I’ll line up to buy a copy of your mag as well…. when does it come out?
Frankie…I thought it was Cruststation!! You could easily be the editor!
