Native State

tony-amos.jpgThe party was a blast yesterday, looks like some of you are real 24-hour party people. I am finally getting round to sharing the fantastic nature photography by Tony Amos of Australia (via Vogue Living, sent to me by the lovely Meshell some time ago). She had me rolling on the floor laughing yesterday, find out why here: candles aka ‘english mistakes!’

  1. Tony Amos. At first I thought I saw Tori Amos and I was exstatic. Oh well. The images were lovely nonetheless. Still laughing pleasantly at your friends funny-ness….

  2. I always appreciated the randomness of the Boethius quote in the movie 24 Hour Party People:

It’s my belief that history is a wheel. “Inconsistency is my very essence” -says the wheel- “Rise up on my spokes if you like, but don’t complain when you are cast back down into the depths. Good times pass away, but then so do the bad. Mutability is our tragedy, but it is also our hope. The worst of times, like the best, are always passing away”.

Thanks for reminding me of the movie!

  3. I came upon your site when searching for a link to Tony Amos after seeing these particular photographs in the named magazine. I would love to feature them in our interiorshop / cafe / gallery in Copenhagen, so if anyone could help me locate the photograpeher, I would really appreciate it.
