Kosuke Ikeda

kosuke-ikeda.jpgBased in Kyoto, Japan, artist Kosuke Ikeda draws intricate everyday scenes using only his gel ink ball point pen. He started drawing in 1999 and had a solo show in 2004 at Kyoto Neutron. By using simple lines, he draws people and cityscapes with lively atmosphere.

  1. I cannot stop looking at his patterns and lines that become patterns. somehow it reminds me of gustav klimt but with more subtle colours.
    that house and trees is just amazing. oh! … those colours. perfect!
