roderickangle.jpgRoderick Angle {born Lawrence, Kansas in 1970} moved to New York to attend the School of Visual Arts, graduating with honors in 1994. Longterm apprenticeships followed with Guzman and David LaChappelle, whom Angle considers a primary influence and mentor. Along the way, he developed a style that was equal parts rock n’ roll, film noir and surrealist. After striking out on his own in the late 1990s, Roderick landed print campaigns for Pepe Jeans, Target, and Sony Electronics. He also began shooting fashion editorials and covers for Raygun, Spin, Surface, Details, Black Book and Time Out New York.
